Normal Workday definition

Normal Workday or “Normal Working Hours” means 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on any business day in the location where on-site Support Services are being performed (excluding any public holidays in such location where such on-site Support Services are being performed).
Normal Workday means the workday specified in Section 5.2 of this Agreement.

Examples of Normal Workday in a sentence

  • The Company may adopt alternative work schedules consisting of schedules other than the Normal Workday and Work Week as defined in Article Five Section C.1.a. with the approval of the Local Union President/Unit Chair and the Grievance Chair and sixty percent (60%) of the Employees who are impacted by the alternative schedule.

For the purpose only of clarifying an existing management prerogative, the Department may at its sole discretion, and in compliance with federal and state law, reschedule time off during the work period.

  • Court time shall consist of "Court Time on Duty" and "Court Time Off Duty" as defined and subject to the compensation set forth below: Court Time On Duty: Court time on duty shall mean court time occurring during the "Normal Workday,” "Normal Workday Overtime,” or immediately following the "Normal Workday," and shall be compensated as such.

  • Lunch and breaks during the summer schedule shall be applied in the same manner as the Normal Workday in Section 6.2 above.

More Definitions of Normal Workday

Normal Workday means 8 hours within a nine-hour period for all public officers and employees both salaried and non-salaried, regardless of the officers' or employees' regular work schedule.
Normal Workday as used herein means the number of continuous hours that an employee can be expected to be available for employment. (The normal workday includes a duty-free meal period and relief periods) The use herein of "normal workday" shall not be construed to mean that any employee is assured of employment for any minimum number of hours in any day, or that an employee shall earn compensation for any period of time not, in fact, worked unless provided for in other articles of this Agreement (i.e. sick leave, personal leave) or that an employee cannot be required to work in excess of the normal workday as stated in Section A-1, A-2, and A-3 on a non-regular basis provided overtime pay is granted for hours worked in excess as stated in Section H.
Normal Workday means a day which falls on or between Monday and Friday of the calendar week, 52 weeks a year, excluding the City of Breckenridge holidays. A list of all the City of Breckenridge holidays shall be supplied to KESI from you upon award of this contract.

Related to Normal Workday

  • Normal Working Hours means between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, inclusive. Saturdays, Sundays, and County holidays are excluded.

  • Normal weekly hours of work means the established standard work times and number of hours in the workweek for the position or, if standard work times and number of hours have not been established for the position, the work times and average number of hours per week actually worked by the employee in that position over the most recent 3 months before the employer files the application for designation as a participating employer.

  • ordinary hours of work means the hours of work permitted in terms of clause 11;

  • Working Hour means an hour between 0900 hours and 1700 hours on a Working Day.

  • Workweek means any week during which a Class Member worked for Defendant for at least one day, during the Class Period.

  • Core Hours means the period beginning at 8am and ending at 6.30pm on any day from Monday to Friday except Good Friday, Christmas Day or bank holidays;

  • Shift Work is defined as the same work performed by two or more employees or two or more successive sets or groups of employees working successive periods.

  • Training hour means at least 50 minutes of actual learning, including, but not limited to, time devoted to lecture, learning activities, small group activities, demonstrations, evaluations, and hands-on experience.

  • Yearly (1/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done in the month of September, unless specifically identified otherwise in the effluent limitations and monitoring requirements table.

  • Installation Work means the construction and installation of the System and the Start-up, testing and acceptance (but not the operation and maintenance) thereof; all performed by or for the Power Producer at the Premises.
