Pay Time Off Provisions a. Health & Safety Training and Duties: Employees shall not be unreasonably denied Educational Leave to attend seminars, workshops, and/or training sessions sponsored by the Union or a government agency or department for instruction and/or upgrading on health and safety matters and shall be considered as time worked and shall be paid for in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

  • Salary Provisions A. Employees shall be compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement for all hours worked.

  • SAVINGS PROVISIONS 19.1 If any provisions of this Agreement are held to be contrary to law by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provisions will not be deemed valid and subsisting except to the extent permitted by law, but all other provisions will continue in full force and effect.

  • Top-up Provisions Employees accessing short-term disability leave as set out in paragraph c) will have access to any unused sick leave days from their last fiscal year worked for the purpose of topping up wages to one hundred percent (100%) under the short-term disability leave. This top-up is calculated as follows: Eleven (11) days less the number of sick leave days used in the most recent fiscal year worked. Each top-up to 100% from 90 to 100% requires the corresponding fraction of a day available for top-up. In addition to the top-up bank, top-up for compassionate reasons may be considered at the discretion of the board on a case by case basis. The top-up will not exceed two (2) days and is dependent on having two (2) unused Short-Term Paid Leave Days/Miscellaneous Personal Leave Days in the current year. These days can be used to top-up salary under the short-term disability leave. When employees use any part of a short-term disability leave day they may access their top up bank to top up their salary to 100%.

  • Penalty Provisions Failure to comply with the regulatory requirements is a violation of state law that may result in penalties up to ten thousand nine hundred ten dollars ($10,910.00 USD) for strict liability violations for each day in which the violation occurs. (3) The Contractor shall send a copy of the EEO provisions to each labor union or representative of workers with which it has a collective bargaining agreement or other contract or understanding. (4) In the event of the Contractor's noncompliance with these EEO provisions, the City may cancel, terminate, or suspend this contract, in whole or in part, and the City may declare the Contractor ineligible for further City contracts. (5) Unless exempted by the City Council of the City of Durham, the Contractor shall include these EEO provisions in every purchase order for goods to be used in performing this contract and in every subcontract related to this contract so that these EEO provisions will be binding upon such subcontractors and vendors.

  • Make-up Time Provisions Subject to Agency operating requirements and supervisory approval, employees who do not work pursuant to Sections 2 and 5 of this Article may make-up part or all of their work time missed during the same workweek. In no instance will time worked during the make-up period result in overtime being charged to the Agency. The Employer/Agency shall not be liable for any penalty or overtime payments when employees are authorized to make up work.

  • Provisions for Covered Entity to Inform Business Associate of Privacy Practices and Restrictions (a) Covered Entity shall notify Business Associate of any limitation(s) in the notice of privacy practices of Covered Entity under 45 CFR 164.520, to the extent that such limitation may affect Business Associate’s use or disclosure of protected health information.

  • Pay Provisions An employee who serves on a safety and health committee shall receive his regular rate of pay for attending meetings of the Committee held during working hours and for investigations by the Safety Committee.

  • Early Withdrawal Provisions We will impose a penalty if You withdraw any of the principal funds before the maturity date. The penalty imposed will equal the sum of the $25.00 administrative fee plus 180 days of dividends on the amount withdrawn. Renewal Policies. Your Account will renew automatically upon maturity and You will have a seven-calendar-day grace period immediately following the maturity of Your Account during which You may make withdrawals from Your Account without penalty.
