Common use of Payment for Holidays Clause in Contracts

Payment for Holidays. Any employee who qualifies for holiday pay and is required to work on any of the above named holidays will receive pay at the rate of time and one-half (1½) the employee's regular hourly rate for every hour worked on such day in addition to pay for the holiday at the employee's regular hourly rate.
