Payment for Prescribed Public Holidays. ‌ (a) Employees, other than Casual Employees, who but for a public holiday would be rostered to work on a day that is a public holiday, shall receive payment for a prescribed public holiday paid for the hours they would have ordinarily been rostered to work at the Employee’s Hourly Pay Rate. (b) A Full-time Employee will accrue eight ordinary hours of work on a public holiday. The Ordinary Hours of Work will be distributed as 7.6 Ordinary Hours of Work to be paid to the Employee at their Hourly Pay Rate and 0.4 hours to be accrued toward an RDO.
