TEMPORARY LEAVES OF ABSENCE A. Teachers will be entitled to the following temporary leaves of absence with full pay each school year:
TEMPORARY LEAVE OF ABSENCE A. Members shall be entitled to the following temporary leaves of absence with full pay each school year. Such days of temporary leave must be taken as either one-half (1/2) or one (1) full working day. No personal leaves of absence shall be taken immediately prior to or immediately after holidays or vacations. Any exceptions must be requested in writing to the Superintendent or his designee and must have written approval.
Temporary Employee Temporary employee" means an employee who is appointed with a definite ending date. A temporary employee's term of employment may not exceed a total of 12 months in any 24-month period in any one agency.
Temporary Nurse Any nurse who is employed for a specified period of time not to exceed three (3) months, or any nurse who is employed to fill positions because of any combination of leaves of absence, vacations, holidays, and sick leave for a period of time not to exceed six (6) months.
Grant of Temporary Entry 1. Each Party shall grant temporary entry to business persons who comply with existing immigration measures applicable to temporary entry such as those relating to public health and safety and national security, in accordance with this Chapter and the terms and conditions of Annex 7 (Commitments for Temporary Entry for Business Persons). 2. Each Party shall limit any fees for processing applications for temporary entry of business persons so as to not unduly impair or delay trade in goods or services or the conduct of investment activities under this Agreement. Temporary Teachers Section 2 (Application of Act) of The Teachers’ Life Insurance (Government Contributory) Act shall include teachers employed as a “temporary teacher” under Clause 2 of The Education Act, 1995 provided the term specified for the temporary contract is for a period of at least 20 teaching days (full or partial). The insurance coverage provided pursuant to this Clause will be effective from the first day of the contract to the end of the insurance year. Article Seven
Temporary Layoff The Employer may temporarily layoff an employee for up to ninety (90) days due to an unanticipated loss of funding, revenue shortfall, lack of work, shortage of material or equipment, or other unexpected or unusual reasons. An employee will normally receive seven (7) days notice of a temporary layoff.
Temporary Leave Teachers who are members of UTW, at the request of UTW, shall be granted leave to participate in certain UTW activities subject to and in accordance with policies of the Board and administrative guidelines.
Temporary Employees 3.3.1 A temporary employee is an employee who is hired for short-term work assignment which is not ongoing (i.e. normally 12 months or less and not extending beyond 24 months). The employee's benefits and working conditions are as per Article 34 (Temporary Employees).
STATUS OF TEMPORARY ORDERS All temporary orders previously rendered by the court in the pending dissolution action of the Couple shall be deemed fully satisfied as to those acts whose performance was required on or before the effective date of this Agreement and shall be deemed superseded by this Agreement as to those acts whose performance was not required.
