Common use of Payment of Accumulated Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Payment of Accumulated Sick Leave. Any employee having accrued sick leave to his credit shall, on retirement or termination, after ten (10) years of continuous service, receive a salary grant in lieu thereof equal to: One half (1/2) of the days accumulated as per 21(B). In the event of death, the salary grant shall be paid to his beneficiary. Union dues will not be deducted from payout.
