In this instance the Company will provide relief at its own expense. A leave of absence for one day or less may be granted by the supervisor provided hours notice, if possible, is given. If more than one day is required the application of Article in the Collective Agreement will apply. For meetings the Company will pay straight-time to employees for the time they attend meetings during regular work hours, and straight-time to employees required to provide relief.
