Peer Training and Credentialing. Prior to delivering services, peers must be trained and credentialed by COUNTY. Peers must complete the Placer Peer Skills Training Modules and include their completion certificate with their credentialing request in compliance with Placer’s policy. In addition to the Peer Skills Training, peers will adhere to Placer’s training policies which include annual training on topics that include: ASAM, Cultural Competency, DMC-ODS Documentation training, and various EBPs as applicable.
