Annual Training. The Governing Board shall receive initial training and annual training thereafter. Pursuant to O.C.G.A §20-2-2072 and relevant State Board rules, the training shall include, but not be limited to, best practices on school governance, the constitutional and statutory requirements relating to public records and meetings, and the requirements of applicable statutes and rules and regulations.
Annual Training. All employees shall be required to attend an annual training program identified by the Special Investigative Unit Department. Training shall consist of a minimum of five (5) workdays over and above what is mandated by Florida Department of Law Enforcement to maintain their state law enforcement certification.
Annual Training. A Cabin Attendant who fails his requalification exams will be released from his responsibilities without pay until he can re-qualify. A Cabin Attendant will take a new exam within the 72 hours. A Cabin Attendant who has thus been re-qualified will immediately regain his prior status as well as his Block and the flights marked thereon.
Annual Training. All employees subject to testing for controlled substances and alcohol shall be provided with an annual training session which includes information regarding employee assistance, specific substance abuse training and possible physiological, contractual and legal consequences of substance abuse. Prior to driving, all employees shall be given necessary post-accident information procedures and instructions by the employer.
Annual Training. 1. The District will provide an annual training covering leadership skills and operation of Site Councils for Site Council Chairpersons. The training shall include, but not be limited to, timely notice of agendas, development and implementation of programs and licensed professional involvement in site based decision making.
2. In addition, if Title I funding allows, each building will be allocated one workshop day for site council planning and preparation. The above trainings/preparation days will occur prior to the beginning of the work year. Licensed professionals shall be compensated for these trainings/preparation days at their daily rate. If funding is not available, licensed professionals will receive one (1) comp day to be used on a non- student contact day, mutually agreed upon with direct supervisor and/or principal.
Annual Training. Joint district and association Shared Governance training sessions shall be conducted early in the school year and again mid-year, complete with materials for principals, all members of SIC, SCC and PTA presidents, and presidents-elect. All are expected to attend. A separate Shared Governance training session shall be held early in the year for all new administrators.
Annual Training. The Employer and the Union are committed to ensuring that employees receive training that will help to maximize the productivity and quality of their work. To facilitate this goal, the parties agree that providing annual training to employees is important and that the Employer and the Union should therefore endeavor to provide such annual training. Annual training provided by the Union, including updating employees on new agreements and policies, and on the coordination of these policies and agreements with policies and procedures set forth in the collective bargaining agreement, can help to facilitate the maximization of both quality and productivity. The Union may schedule up to an hour per year of such training at the time and place, agreeable to the parties, provided, such training does not unreasonably disrupt department operations. Where the Employer has scheduled such training, the Union may, by mutual agreement, be scheduled in conjunction with such sessions. Training provided for herein shall be without loss of pay.
Annual Training. Following the Annual Program Review meeting (Stipulation IX.C.2), the DOT&PF will invite SHPO to meet with the PQIs for annual training on implementation of this Agreement.
Annual Training. The District shall provide instruction for all staff concerning all applicable federal, state, and local laws and District rules, regulations and procedures pertaining to student rights,staff rights, due process, the processing of student discipline and improvement of student-staff relationships, communication skills and staff effectiveness no later than September 30 each year.
Annual Training. A permanent employee who is a member of the Organized Reserve or National Guard shall be allowed military leave with pay at the rate of the employee's minimum compensation for annual training scheduled by military authority in any Federal Training Year - October 1 to September 30 up to a maximum of eleven (11) workdays. A permanent employee who has more than eleven (11) days of field training scheduled in one Federal Training Year shall be entitled to leave without pay for those days in excess of eleven (11), and shall be placed in an off payroll status, unless the employee elects to use accumulated annual leave, compensatory time, or personal leave credits for the period of absence. A permanent part-time employee shall be granted military leave with pay on a prorated basis.
