Per Episode of Illness or Injury. Employees who are on an approved medical leave of absence and whose paid hours in a pay period are less than fifty-six (56) hours (40 hours for Fire Suppression Aides) will continue to receive MPS for up to six (6) pay periods per episode of illness or injury.
