Percentage in Lieu (Regular Part-time and Casual Nurses Only. Regular part-time and Casual nurses shall receive 12 % pay in lieu of vacation, statutory holidays, pension and all other fringe benefits. Notwithstanding the foregoing, regular part-time and casual nurses may on a voluntary basis, enrol in the pension plan when eligible in accordance with its terms and conditions. For regular part-time and casual nurses who are members of the pension plan, the percentage in lieu is 9 %. It is understood and agreed that the regular part-time and casual nurse’s hourly rate does not include the percentage in lieu of vacation, statutory holidays, fringe benefits and pension and accordingly the percentage in lieu of fringe benefits will not be included for the purposes of computing vacation pay or any premium or overtime payments.
