Period of Assistance. A specified period of time when a Responding Member assists a Requesting Member. The period commences when personnel, equipment, or supplies depart from Responding Member’s facility and ends when the resources return to their facility (portal to portal). All protections identified in the agreement apply during this period. The specified Period of Assistance may occur during response to or recovery from an emergency, as previously defined.
Period of Assistance. The period of time beginning with the departure of any personnel of the Assisting Utility from any point for the purpose of travelling to the Damaged Utility in order to provide assistance and ending upon the return of all personnel of the Assisting Utility, after providing the assistance requested, to their residence or place of Work, whichever is first to occur.

The period of assistance shall not include any portion of the trip to the Requesting Party or the return trip from the Requesting Party, during which the personnel of the Assisting Part are engaged in a course of conduct not reasonably necessary for their safe arrival at, or return from, the Requesting Party.
Period of Assistance. The period of time covered by this Mutual Aid Agreement by which the REQUESTING UTILITY will reimburse the ASSISTING UTILITY for covered costs including, but not limited to, personnel, equipment usage based on a standard fee schedule, meals and lodging incurred by responding personnel.

I. Steering Committee – A committee consisting of representatives from Members and other agencies that may have a role to play in the mutual aid
Period of Assistance. All costs must be incurred within the period of assist- ance, which is 18 months from the date of the disaster declaration. This period of assistance may be extended if re- quested in writing by the State and ap- proved in writing by the FEMA Asso- ciate Director. The State must include a justification for an extension of the assistance period.
Period of Assistance. FEMA may provide assistance under this subpart for a period not to exceed 18 months from the date of declaration. The Asso- ciate Director (AD) may extend this pe- riod if he/she determines that due to extraordinary circumstances an exten- sion would be in the public interest.
Period of Assistance. Provided the occupant is eligible for continued as- sistance, assistance shall be provided for a period not to exceed 18 months from the declaration date.
