Responding Party definition

Responding Party has the meaning set forth in Section 7.02(a).

Responding Party has the meaning given to it in Section 10.6(a).

• If the Responding Party shall fail to designate an arbitrator and deliver Notice thereof to the Initiating Party within the time limit in Section 7.1 hereof, then the arbitrator appointed by the Initiating Party shall be entitled to arbitrate the matter to be arbitrated as if appointed a single arbitrator pursuant to the provisions of the Arbitration Act, (Ontario).

• Within thirty (30) days of receipt of a Notice of Non- Compliance, the Responding Party shall respond to the Initiating Party in writing.

• Within 5 Business Days of receipt of such notice, the Responding Party shall either select one of the three potential arbitrators or submit the names of three potential arbitrators that would be acceptable to the Responding Party.

• The Responding Party may provide additional Members and/or apparatus and equipment if requested by the Authorized Fire Official of the Requesting Party.

• The arbitration panel shall then promptly proceed to hear the evidence and submissions of the Initiating Party and the Responding Party and shall render a written decision within thirty (30) days after the designation of the third arbitrator.

More Definitions of Responding Party

Responding Party means a Party providing or requested to provide Mutual Aid withinthe jurisdictional boundaries of the Requesting Party.

Responding Party has the meaning set forth in Section 16.2 hereof.
