Permittee-Initiated Adaptive Management. Permittee will implement the adaptive management provisions in Chapter 6 of the HCP when changes in management practices are necessary to achieve the HCP’s biological objectives or to respond to monitoring results or new scientific information. Permittee will make these changes without awaiting notice from FWS and will report to FWS on any actions taken under this Chapter.

Permittee-Initiated Adaptive Management. The Permittees will implement the adaptive management provisions as provided in Section 7.3 of the SLCHCP, when changes in management practices are necessary to achieve the SLCHCP’s biological objectives, or to respond to monitoring results or new scientific information. Implementation will be consistent with the provisions of Section 7.3 establishing the SLCHCP as a prescription-based HCP under the USFWS Five-Point Policy. The Permittees will make such changes without awaiting notice from the USFWS, and Lincoln County will report to the USFWS on any actions taken pursuant to this section.
Permittee-Initiated Adaptive Management. Permittee will implement and periodically evaluate the adaptive management provisions described in Section 7.2.7 of the Plan when changes in management practices are necessary to achieve the Plan’s biological goals and objectives, or to respond to monitoring results or new scientific information. The overarching purpose of the monitoring and adaptive management program is to inform and refine Plan implementation so that it may achieve the goals and objectives of the Conservation Strategy as defined in Chapter 5 of the Plan. The Permittee will implement adaptive management by using information gathered from the monitoring program to inform and refine the future management of the Preserve Area as defined in Chapter 7 of the Plan. Permittee will be responsible for implementing the adaptive management program and will consider the recommendations of the Wildlife Agencies, science advisors, other land management agencies, and the public, as provided in this Section and as further described in Chapter 7 of the Plan. Permittee will notify and obtain concurrence of the Wildlife Agencies for any proposed adaptive management actions to be taken pursuant to this section. In addition, any major changes in the adaptive management program will require the approval of the Wildlife Agencies prior to implementation, including, but not limited to, any proposed actions that would be inconsistent with the Plan or detrimental to a Covered Species, introducing new and untested management techniques, discontinuing and replacing ineffective management techniques that are recommended in the Conservation Strategy, or applying management techniques on a much larger or smaller scale than envisioned in the Plan.
Permittee-Initiated Adaptive Management. Permittee will implement the adaptive management provisions in Section 5.4.1 of the HCP when changes in management practices are necessary to achieve the HCP’s biological objectives or to respond to post construction monitoring results or new scientific information. The proposed take limit has been established at no more than 162 Indiana bats and no more than 81 northern long-eared bats over the 27-year operating period authorized under the ITP, based on an average take of 6 Indiana bats and 3 northern long-eared bats per calendar year before accounting for the effect of minimization measures. WWF will implement minimization measures that are expected to reduce take by 50% below the authorized levels, and will implement adaptive management measures designed to maintain the rate of take at expected levels as dictated by the Evidence of Absence model and described in Section 5.4.1. No violation of the ITP shall be deemed to have occurred based solely on exceedance of the expected annual average take in a calendar year or expected total take over the permit term. Permittee will provide written notification to the Service of the implementation of any adaptive management measures as set forth in Section 5.4.3 of the HCP.

  • Management Committee The Members shall act collectively through meetings as a "committee of the whole," which is hereby named the "Management Committee." The Management Committee shall conduct its affairs in accordance with the following provisions and the other provisions of this Agreement:

  • Union-Management Committee There shall be a union/management committee comprised of four (4) employee representatives appointed by the Union and four (4) employer representatives. The Committee's purpose is to provide and promote effective and meaningful communication of information and ideas and to make joint recommendations on matters of concern. Matters that are properly the subject of an individual grievance will not be discussed at this committee. The Committee will meet quarterly, unless agreed otherwise, at a time and place mutually agreed to provided there is business for their joint consideration. The parties will exchange agenda items at least one (1) week prior to the meeting. The parties further agree the Committee may meet at any time its members mutually agree a meeting should be held. The duties of the Chairperson will be shared by the parties. Copies of the minutes shall be provided to Committee members. The employer agrees to pay for time spent during regular working hours for representatives of the union attending such meetings. The parties may utilize video or teleconferencing services for the purposes of committee members attending committee meetings, where appropriate and available. Neither party can unreasonably deny an initiative to utilize video or teleconferencing services.
