Obligations of the BLM. BLM agrees to implement the tasks described in Section 8.1.4.1.5 of the SLCHCP, and to use its best efforts to facilitate implementation of the SLCHCP. The following shall apply to all mitigation work or other work under the SLCHCP proposed to occur on public lands administered by BLM.

Obligations of the BLM. The BLM, Service and CSI shall enter into a Management Agreement for the CSICL (the reconfigured leased lands) that desclibes activities that may occur within the CSICL and the roles and responsibilities of the parties. The Management Agreement shall be developed in accordance with the NV-FL Act, the Lease and the HCP. The Service will be designated as the lead agency under the management agreement for activities occurring on or within the CSICL. BLM's management responsibility for lands subject to the Lease are governed by the provisions ofthe NV-FL Act and the Lease. The following shall apply to all mitigation work or other work under the HCP proposed to occur on public lands administered by BLM. As used below, the tenTI "public lands" does not include any lands subject to the Lease. Obligations of the BLM. BLM will cooperate with the Service to timely complete all task necessary or appropriate for the full implementation of the HCP. BLM shall manage the leased lands in accordance with the provisions the Land Lease Agreement entered into pursuant to the Nevada-Florida Land Exchange Act of 1988 and the HCP under the direction of the Service to protect and minimize any threat to federally listed endangered or threatened species.
