Common use of PERSONAL INJURY BENEFITS Clause in Contracts

PERSONAL INJURY BENEFITS. The Committee agrees that the provisions of Chapter 152, Section 69, General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts providing for benefits of employees or their dependents in the event of incapacity or death arising out of employment shall be accepted and applied to members. A teacher receiving Workers’ Compensation benefits for as long as the latter benefit payments continue, provided that the said difference shall be charged, on an appropriate proportional basis, against the sick leave benefits to which the said teacher may be entitled.
