Teacher Benefits. 19.1 The District shall contribute no more than the amount per month per full time bargaining unit member toward the payment of premiums for health, dental, and vision insurance as specified by a side letter of agreement. The plan shall be that plan which is identified for the benefit year in the side letter of agreement and posted on the District website.

Teacher Benefits. 1. The Board shall provide a fringe benefit program to comply with Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code.
2. The Board shall also provide the opportunity for each employee to execute a salary reduction agreement, once annually. Once the annual allocation is made for each selected benefit, the only change which will be allowed is for a qualifying event as defined by the IRS. Each employee executing a salary reduction agreement for benefits shall allocate an annual sum to be used for the purchase of benefits approved by the negotiations committee. A benefits committee (see 5.I.7), appointed by the Association and Administration, will provide a recommendation prior to negotiations. Any expected money committed by the employee for one of the benefits remaining at the end of the contract year shall revert to the Board.
3. The Board shall contribute monthly according to the following graduated plan toward the premium payment of the group health care plan(s) in force as selected by the Board. Teachers not participating in the group health insurance are not eligible for the Board’s contribution. Employee Only $320.00 Employee/Child $350.00 Employee/Spouse $335.00 Employee/Family $375.00 The Board shall provide each employee a description of the benefit coverage’s available within ten (10) days of the first day of school or date of employment, which shall include a clear description of conditions and limits of coverage as provided above. When requested by the employee, the Board shall provide applications and, when necessary, information about the programs.
4. In addition to the above, the Board shall allow the employee to participate an approved 403(b) plan managed by a third party administrator. Participation in the plan will be governed by the plan document guidelines and regulations.
5. Upon retirement, resignation, or reduction in staff from the district, a teacher shall be reimbursed for accumulated sick leave at the rate of one-half the current substitute daily rate of pay. If a teacher should die while in service to the district, such an amount shall be paid to his/her beneficiaries.
6. The Board will contribute seventy-five dollars ($75) annually to a health club membership. Only teachers that belong to a health club are eligible for this board contribution.

Teacher Benefits. All Teachers included in the bargaining unit shall be provided all benefits and conditions in this Agreement, except as specified to the contrary. The benefits of full-time Teachers apply to part-time Teachers and will be prorated accordingly.
Teacher Benefits. Employees' children may attend Northwest Local Schools tuition free according to the district's open enrollment guidelines, which were in effect during the 1997-98 school year. All employees shall receive a pass to all school activities during the school year.
Teacher Benefits. Section A: Personal Injury Benefits Paragraph 1: Worker’s Compensation The Board shall provide Kansas Worker’s Compensation benefits for all teachers. If a teacher has a compensable worker’s compensation claim, the teacher will be paid at 100% for the period of time that temporary leave is available. A teacher may choose to save up to five (5) accumulated temporary leave days. Once temporary leave is exhausted, compensation will be reduced to 70% up to a maximum of 180 total calendar days from the date of disability. After 180 days, the teacher’s position may be refilled, but the teacher may be eligible to continue receiving worker’s compensation benefits at the reduced rate of the statutory maximum.
