Policy on Alcohol. You will become familiar with the Academy’s policy before the start of summer sea term so that you will know what is expected and prohibited. For example, you understand that you cannot possess alcohol onboard the training ship nor may you consume alcohol aboard the vessel. You agree not be under the influence of alcohol at any time while onboard. You further understand that whether you are under the influence of alcohol may be determined by observations of your conduct, use of a breathalyzer machine, or both.

Policy on Alcohol. At present, India does not have a national alcohol policy. However, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has Alcohol and Drug Demand Reduction and Prevention Policies. At the state level there is vast variation such as production, sale and/or consumption of alcohol is prohibited in the states of Gujarat, Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland, as well as the union territory of Lakshadweep.1 While other states including Madhya Pradesh do not prohibit sale of alcohol but follow symbolic measures of observing certain days as “dry days”

  • Alcohol Policy Residents are required to abide by all New York State and New York University regulations regarding the use of alcohol. In residence halls, persons under the age of 21 may not be in the presence of alcohol or alcoholic beverage containers. Students (including residents and non- residential students), and guests who are of legal drinking age (21 years of age or older) may possess and consume alcoholic beverages (referred herein “alcohol”) within NYU residence halls in accordance with the following:

  • DRUGS & ALCOHOL Any incidents concerning drugs and/or alcohol shall be dealt with in accordance with the policy of the Building Industry Group Drug and Alcohol Safety and Rehabilitation Program as detailed in Appendix D of this Agreement.

  • Alcohol The intoxicating agent in beverage alcohol, ethyl alcohol or other low molecular weight alcohols including methyl and isopropyl alcohol.

A sample or test in these circumstances will not form part of the Pupil's permanent medical record.

  • Prohibition on Political Activity with City Funds In accordance with San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 12.G, Contractor may not participate in, support, or attempt to influence any political campaign for a candidate or for a ballot measure (collectively, “Political Activity”) in the performance of the services provided under this Agreement. Contractor agrees to comply with San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 12.G and any implementing rules and regulations promulgated by the City’s Controller. The terms and provisions of Chapter 12.G are incorporated herein by this reference. In the event Contractor violates the provisions of this section, the City may, in addition to any other rights or remedies available hereunder, (i) terminate this Agreement, and (ii) prohibit Contractor from bidding on or receiving any new City contract for a period of two (2) years. The Controller will not consider Contractor’s use of profit as a violation of this section.
