POSITION SEARCH. The positional search function looks for a specific position, a partial position, or a structure. S 37 elect the Search | Position command in the main menu. (You can also click on the small down arrow next to the icon on the toolbar and select Position search in the drop-down list). In the Search dialog box there is a chessboard with the starting position where you can set up the position you want to search for. Suppose you are interested in the Alekhine Defense. Drag the white pawn to e4 and the black knight to f6, then indicate whose move it is in the Position search options section. Click on Search and the program will find games.

POSITION SEARCH. Set up a position on the chessboard using the mouse and piece palette. Right-click on the chessboard to call the local menu and to get quick access to the list of available hot-keys. Specify the possibility of castling, who is to move and the next move number. With the help of the Save file as button you can save the position for future use. To load one of the previously saved positions from the *.epd or *.brw files, press the Open file button, select the necessary position, and press <Copy (see Section 4.2 Position Search for details). Click on OK, then proceed to enter notation as usual.

  • Position Description The employee shall be responsible for drafting his/her position description form and shall forward it to his/her supervisor for approval. When the employee and the supervisor disagree on the job description, they shall meet promptly and attempt to reach an agreement on the employee's job duties.   • Position Descriptions Individual position descriptions shall be reduced to writing and delineate the duties currently assigned to an employee’s position. A dated copy of the position description shall be given to the employee upon assuming the position and when the position description is amended.
