Positions Represented by the Union. If a position is posted as a Bargaining Unit position, the position will normally be filled by an applicant who is or will become a member of the Bargaining Unit. However, if there are no applicants appointed in accordance with Article 15, the University may appoint someone to the position who would not become a member of the bargaining unit (e.g. a BUFA member being assigned to instruct a course).
