LABOR-MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. The Union and the University mutually agree that in the interest of harmonious employee relations, it is desirable to hold meetings between representatives of the Union and management (hereinafter referred to as "Labor-Management Conferences"). Matters of mutual concern, including conditions tending to cause misunderstandings, may be considered. However, once a grievance has been written, such meetings shall be exclusive of the grievance procedure provided in Article XVII and formal grievances shall not be considered at such meetings. Either the Union or the University may request a Labor-Management Conference, which will occur at a mutually agreed upon time within ten (10) working days after the request is made. Any such Labor-Management Conference will be scheduled by the University’s Labor and Employee Relations section and the Union. A representative from the University’s Labor and Employee Relations section will be present at any such scheduled conference. The party requesting a Labor-Management Conference shall provide the other party with an agenda of the issues to be discussed prior to the scheduled conference. The number of employee participants in the conference will be mutually agreed upon in advance. Attendance by employees at such conferences during the employee's regular scheduled working hours shall be without loss of pay. Employees must receive advance approval to participate in and/or attend such conference. Such approval shall not be unreasonably denied.

LABOR-MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. The Union and the Employer mutually agree that in the interest of efficient management and harmonious employee relations, meetings shall be held between Union and Employer representatives when appropriate. Such meetings shall be scheduled within one week of either party submitting an agenda to the other, or at a time mutually agreed upon by the parties, and shall be limited to:
LABOR-MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. The Council and the Employer agree that in the interest of efficient management and harmonious employee relations, it is desirable that meetings be held between representatives of the Council and responsible administrative representatives of the Employer. Accordingly, the parties agree that such meetings will be held, upon the request of either party, to discuss: A. The implementation and general administration of this Agreement; B. The sharing of general information of interest to the parties; C. Safety Issues; D. Changes in non-bargaining conditions of employment contemplated by the Employer, which may affect employees. Such conferences shall be held as necessary, at mutually agreed upon times and locations. When absence from work is required to attend a Labor-Management Conference, Council members shall, before attending, give reasonable notice to their supervisor who shall approve the absence except in an emergency, and shall thereafter remain in a pay status during such conference. No Council member in attendance at Labor-Management Conferences, who is "off- duty," or who becomes "off-duty," during such conference shall be paid, for such off duty time. Any final report which may be prepared by the Council or the Employer as a direct result of a labor-management conference discussion will be in writing and copies shall be submitted to the Employer and the Council. Excluded from this section are correspondences to other entities reference these conference discussions, such as a correspondence from the Chief of Police to the City Council, etc.
LABOR-MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. A Labor Management Conference is a meeting between the URA-AFT, the Office of University Labor Relations and such other representative(s) as the University deems appropriate, to consider matters of general interest and concern other than grievances. Such a meeting may be called by either party, shall take place at a mutually convenient time and place and may be attended by no more than five (5) URA-AFT Representatives employed by Rutgers who shall not lose pay for time spent during their regular working hours at such a meeting. National Representatives and/or Union Representatives may attend such meetings. Agreements reached at Labor Management Conferences may be reduced to writing.
LABOR-MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. The parties agree that meetings may be desirable for the purpose of discussing problems which may arise out of the operation of this Agreement and other issues of concern to either party.
LABOR-MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. A Labor/Management Conference is a meeting between the Union, the Office of Labor Relations and such other representatives of Rutgers as may be appropriate to consider matters of general interest and concern other than grievances and/or to present grievances which allege a misinterpretation, misapplication, or violation of a Rutgers policy or administrative decision relating to wages, hours, or terms and conditions of employment which are not mandatorily negotiable. Such a meeting may be called by either party and shall take place at a mutually convenient time and place.
LABOR-MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. The Union and the Sheriff mutually agree that in the interest of efficient management and harmonious employee relations, it is desirable that meetings be held between Union representatives and responsible administrative representatives of the Sheriff. Such meetings may be requested at least seven (7) days in advance by either party by placing in writing a request to the other for a labor-management conference and expressly providing the agenda for such meeting. Such meetings and locations shall be limited to: a) Discussion of the implementation and general administration of this Agreement. b) A sharing of general information of interest to the parties. c) Notifying the Union of changes in non-bargaining conditions of employment contemplated by the Sheriff which may affect employees. The Sheriff and the Union agree to cooperate with each other in matters of the administration of this Agreement, and to the degree that standards of law enforcement can be maintained for the maximum protection of the citizens of the State of Illinois.

LABOR-MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. Representatives of Rutgers and representatives of the Union may confer at any time upon the request of either party to consider matters of general interest or concern, other than grievances. The request shall be in writing and set forth specific reasons for the conference. Such conferences shall take place at a mutually convenient time and place and may be attended by no more than five (5) Union representatives employed by Rutgers who shall not lose pay for time spent during their regular working hours at such conferences. Such conferences may be attended by Council and/or International Representatives of the Union. The work place should be free from harassment. Any claims of harassment shall be the subject of a Labor/Management Conference. University policy decisions agreed to at Labor/Management Conferences at which representatives of the Office of Labor Relations are present will be reduced to writing.
LABOR-MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. The Union and the Employer mutually agree that in the interest of efficient management and harmonious employee relations, meetings shall be held between Union and Employer representatives when appropriate. The identification of possible health and safety concerns. A Union representative and/or Union Stewards may attend these meetings. The Employer may assign appropriate management personnel to attend.
LABOR-MANAGEMENT CONFERENCES. The Company will compensate up to two (2) employees designated by the President of the Union for time spent, during such employee(s)’ working hours, in labor/management conferences held at the request of management. Each designated employee will be compensated at his/her appropriate rate of pay for time spent in such conferences. The President of the Union agrees not to designate any employee to attend such conference on such employee’s day(s) off or while such employee is on PTO/vacation or in any other such non-productive pay status. At the conclusion of each labor/management conference held at the request of management, each Union representative attending such conference shall initial a form prepared by the management representative which shall accurately reflect the time spent by each Union representative in such conference. Such form shall then be an official record of each Union representative's time for payroll purposes. The Union will be responsible for compensating (including reasonable travel time) Union- eligible employees who attend labor/management conferences held at the request of the Union.
