TND works with an Animal product exclusion list and the following products of animal origin are limited or banned in use: • No use of fur (wild or farmed) • No use of angora wool • No use of skins of protected or exotic animals (such as crocodile, snake and seals) • Only use of down from RDS certified farms. Down and feather must not be removed from live animals. Animals must not have been live plucked or molt harvested at any stage in the supply chain. Down and feather must not be from animals that are force fed during their life for any reason including the production of foie gras. • Neither use nor practice of mulesing of merino sheep. Supplier must require evidence from suppliers that all merino wool for TND products is mulesing-free. • The use of Leather, skins of animal fibres from areas known for bad farming practices or for transporting animals under inhumane conditions is not permitted. All leather products shall come from utility animals slaughtered for the meat marked. Leather products shall be manufactured from animals such as pigs, sheep and cows. Hides or skins from exotic animals, are prohibited. No leather from live-skinning or live-boiling can be used. Policy implementation • Begin to train and educate suppliers regarding the animal welfare policy. • Suppliers must provide proof of country of origin and state or province where the animal was born and bred for all animal derived materials sold to TND.

  • Positive Test results for Antibiotics AFTER Milk is collected and has caused the TANKER TO RETURN A POSITIVE RESULT . UPON CUSTOMER RISK ASSESSMENT , MILK IS ACCEPTED. Supplier will not be paid for this Milk as it has tested positive for antibiotics and is deemed to be in breach of ACM Food Safety Program (see part 6.1 for details) and Milk Quality Standards (see Table 3.1). For all positive samples (vat or Tanker) Milk collection will be suspended until a negative sample is achieved. Any subsequent positive vat samples taken during this process will not be paid for. Only after a negative sample is achieved, will ACM schedule Milk for collection. Supplier will be required to complete a CAR (Corrective Action Report) which is a requirement of ACM’s Food Safety Program. Refer to section 4.3 Management of Non‐Conformance ‐ Incident Report in the ACM Food Safety Program manual.
