Common use of Post Training Work Opportunities Clause in Contracts

Post Training Work Opportunities. The Union and the Employer agree that it is beneficial to provide newly trained employees regular opportunities to practice the skills for which they have been trained. To provide for this, senior employees will not exercise their seniority rights over junior, trained employees assigned by the Employer to maintain their new skills provided that the junior trained employee does not work more than one (1) shift per month unless he/she is substituting for an absent senior employee as per Article 27.
