Common use of Posting and Bidding Clause in Contracts

Posting and Bidding. C. All jobs will be posted with a description of the workday, work- week, daily start time, and a description of the type of work involved. All newly created or vacated jobs in A and B above shall be posted within ten (10) days for ten (10) working days and all postings for steps 2 through 4 in B above shall be immediately posted at the end of the previous posting for an additional ten (10) working days. The successful bidder shall be awarded the job the Monday follow- ing the expiration of the ten (10) day posting period, or following the acceptance of the job by a 22.3/40 combination employee.
