Professional Improvement Committee. The PIC on each campus shall be a committee consisting of three (3) representatives of the Academic Senate, one (1) administrator, and one (1) representative of the Faculty Association.

Professional Improvement Committee. 4-6.01 The agenda of the Professional Improvement Committee shall be prepared jointly by the chairperson and the secretary.
Professional Improvement Committee. 4-6.01 The composition and the general rules for the functioning of the PIC are set forth in article 4-3.00. The PIC shall be responsible for the administration of the amounts available for professional improvement. It shall establish the guidelines for the approval and repayment of the expenses incurred to implement the professional improvement and in-service plans for teachers ensuring that any substitution costs relating to an in-service are prioritized for payment.
Professional Improvement Committee. 4-5.01 The union and the board shall form a parity committee to administer funds provided for Professional Improvement and to establish Professional Improvement priorities. This committee shall be known as the Professional Improvement Committee, hereafter referred to as the P.I.C. All minutes, letters or other communication from the P.I.C. shall have the sole heading “Professional Improvement Committee.” 4-5.02 It shall be the P.I.C.’s responsibility to identify priority needs in professional improvement and to plan to meet these needs.
