Professional Leave of Absence. 30 1. Leave of absence may be granted for purposes of professional advancement subject to 31 approval by the College upon the recommendation of the President of the College, when in 32 their judgment, the professional competence of the Instructor and the general welfare of the 33 College shall be benefited. Such leave shall not be less than one (1) semester; not more than 34 two (2) consecutive semesters at any one time, and shall be without pay.
