Professional Leave of Absence. Professional leave of absence shall be granted up to one percent (1%) of the current full-time contracted staff for DocuSign Envelope ID: 22C4B649-47B2-43A6-94B5-1EF2E9B1A864 the purpose of study with the approval of the Superintendent, but without pay, and for a period of time not to exceed two (2) years. Teachers eligible for professional leave consideration shall be those who have been employed by the Springfield City Schools for three (3) consecutive years and hold a continuing contract status, or who have been employed by the Springfield City Schools for five (5) consecutive years and hold a bachelor's degree.
