Professional Mediation. Where differences of opinion related to school-based decisions, policies or practice cannot be resolved, a mediation process will be available to facilitate the resolution of these differences. Although encouraged as a mechanism for problem- solving, participation in a mediation process is voluntary. In order to utilize the mediation process, the Union or School may request the service of (a) person(s) identified as expert in mediation (a “Mediator”). Selections of such person(s) will be made by the School and the Union from a list of mediators mutually agreed upon by the School and the Union. The Mediator will initiate the mediation process within ten (10) school days. This stage of the process is expected to be completed within thirty (30) school days unless the participants, including the Mediator, believe it beneficial to continue the process.   • Optional Mediation The Parties may mutually agree to non-binding mediation:

  • Professional Service Consultant agrees that all services and work performed under this agreement will be accomplished in a professional manner, in accordance with the accepted standards of Contractor’s profession.

  • Professional Services Bodily injury" or "property damage" arising out of the rendering of or failure to render profes- sional services;

  • Professional Dress In as much as teachers are role models for students, each teacher shall maintain a neat, professional appearance appropriate for his/her specific teaching assignment.

  • Other Professional Services We will provide you the various implementation-related services itemized in the Investment Summary and described in the Statement of Work.

  • Mediation Services If we are unable to resolve the problem, then either party can contact the Department of Labour Mediation Service (a government department) for free assistance. The mediator will try to help us resolve the problem, but won’t make a decision as to who is right or wrong unless both parties want this.

  • Professional Memberships Each employee is eligible for reimbursement for membership fees or dues paid for the maintenance of a license required to perform employee’s job and for dues paid for membership in one additional job related professional association.

  • Professional Meetings Employees should be encouraged to and may, with the approval of the supervisor, attend professional meetings, conferences, and activities. Subject to the availability of funds, the employee's expenses in connection with such meetings, conferences, or activities shall be reimbursed in accordance with the applicable provisions of State law and university rules.

  • Contract for Professional Services of Physicians Optometrists, and Registered Nurses In accordance with Senate Bill 799, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., if Texas Government Code, Section 2254.008(a)(2) is applicable to this Contract, Contractor affirms that it possesses the necessary occupational licenses and experience.
