PROFESSIONAL MEETINGS AND EXPENSES. All certificated employees shall be granted one (1) day of professional leave. The Board shall reimburse any employee for expenses from any trip made for inservice training, for any workshop, coaching clinic, convention or similar meeting, provided an estimate of expenditures approved in advance by the Board or Superintendent. Such requests for approval of and the estimates of expenses must be approved in duplicate on the form provided by the Superintendent. No payment will be made above actual expenses and ordinarily none above estimates filed. Denial of expenses shall be nongrievable.

PROFESSIONAL MEETINGS AND EXPENSES. The Superintendent may attend appropriate professional meetings at the local, state and national levels, provided that such attendance does not interfere with the proper performance of the Superintendent’s duties under this Contract and is approved by the Board president. In compliance with the Board’s reimbursement policy and applicable laws, the District shall pay the reasonable expenses of the Superintendent’s membership dues to appropriate professional associations, as approved by the Board, shall be paid by the District. Annual Medical Exam. The Superintendent shall have a comprehensive medical exam each year and the expense (above the amount covered by health insurance) shall be paid by the District.

  • Professional Meetings Employees should be encouraged to and may, with the approval of the supervisor, attend professional meetings, conferences, and activities. Subject to the availability of funds, the employee's expenses in connection with such meetings, conferences, or activities shall be reimbursed in accordance with the applicable provisions of State law and university rules.

  • Board of Trustees Meetings The Association President and each Campus Association President shall be sent advance notices and agendas of the Board of Trustees meetings and shall also be provided copies of the minutes.

  • Investigatory Meetings A. An employee required to attend an investigatory meeting shall receive advance notice of such meeting. Such notice shall include:

  • Required Meetings or Hearings Whenever any employee is required to appear before the Superintendent or his designee, Board or any committee, member, representative or agent thereof concerning any matter which could adversely affect the continuation of that employee in his office, position, or employment or the salary of any increments pertaining thereto, then he shall be given prior written notice of the reasons for such meetings or interview and shall be entitled to have a representative of the Association present to advise him and represent him during such meetings or interview.

  • General Meetings 19. The Academy Trust shall hold an Annual General Meeting each year in addition to any other meetings in that year, and shall specify the meeting as such in the notices calling it; and not more than fifteen months shall elapse between the date of one Annual General Meeting of the Academy Trust and that of the next. Provided that so long as the Academy Trust holds its first Annual General Meeting within eighteen months of its incorporation, it need not hold it in the year of its incorporation or in the following year. The Annual General Meeting shall be held at such time and place as the Governors shall appoint. All meetings other than Annual General Meetings shall be called General Meetings.

  • Faculty Meetings Principals shall have the authority to schedule necessary faculty meetings; however, such meetings shall be as brief and well planned as possible. Such meetings shall be used for purposes that cannot be accomplished effectively through other means. Faculty meetings shall be scheduled in a manner that impacts teacher planning time to the least degree possible. If more than one faculty meeting is held in a month, the purpose of the meeting shall be announced to the faculty in advance.

  • Consultation Meetings (A) Upon request by the Union, the Secretary of the Department of Management Services or designee or the Agency Head or designee shall make a good faith effort to meet and consult on a quarterly basis. Such meetings shall be held at a time and place agreed to by the state and the Union.

  • Meetings and Hearings All meetings and hearings under this procedure shall not be conducted in public and shall include only such parties in interest and their designated or selected representatives, heretofore referred to in this Article.

  • Informal Meetings The Engineer shall provide technical assistance, preparation of exhibits for, and minutes of informal meetings requested by the public to discuss the pending impacts to neighborhoods and businesses due to roadway shutdowns, detours and access restrictions or as deemed necessary. This is not to be confused with the formal public meetings held during the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process during schematic approval for Public Involvement. It is not anticipated that the Engineer’s participation will be needed for the NEPA process. Assistance (exhibits, attendance, etc.) may be required for a formal public meeting/hearing associated with schematic approval work.

  • Staff Meetings Staff meetings, whether in the store or off the premises, shall be considered as time worked and paid for accordingly, except meal meetings at which the attendance is voluntary. Such meal meetings in excess of three (3) during each Contract year shall be considered as time worked and paid for accordingly.
