Common use of Professional Meetings Attendance Clause in Contracts

Professional Meetings Attendance. The Superintendent is expected to attend appropriate professional meetings at the local level, subject to prior notification to the Board President. The Superintendent may also attend appropriate professional meetings at the State and national levels, provided the Superintendent has provided notice to and received prior approval from the Board President at least five (5) school days in advance of such meetings. All reasonable expenses incurred shall be paid by the Board in accordance with and subject to the Board’s travel expense reimbursement policy and applicable law.
