Common use of PROFESSIONAL NURSING CARE COMMITTEE Clause in Contracts

PROFESSIONAL NURSING CARE COMMITTEE. ‌ 18.1 A Professional Nursing Care Committee (PNCC) shall be established at the hospital. The objective of the committee shall be to constructively consider the practice of nurses, work constructively for the improvement in nursing care and nursing practice, recommend to the Hospital ways and means to improve patient care, work constructively with the Hospital in the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and modification of a staffing plan. 18.2 The Committee shall be composed of three (3) Registered Nurses employed at the hospital and covered by this Agreement. The committee members shall be elected by the Registered Nurse staff of the hospital.
