PROGRESS OF 2009 ACTIVITIES. European and Mediterranean Workshop on Climate change impact on water-related and marine risks (Murcia, Spain, 26-27 October 2009) The Executive Secretariat gave an overview of the content of the workshop to be held in Murcia and organised jointly with the Spanish Authorities. He explained that it is crucial that the Agreement deals with climate change issues in risk management and pleaded for the lobbying of Permanent Correspondents at national level to have DRR included in the future adaptation agenda. The different presentations and the final conclusions of the workshop will soon be posted on the Agreement’s web site. • Activities of the Working Groups The Executive Secretariat informed on the advancement of the BE-SAFE-NET website. At its last meeting in Paphos (Cyprus) in April 2009, the group examined the technical aspects of the functioning of the site and the coordination of the material while the next meeting scheduled in November 2009 will be devoted to finalising the material on hazards to enable the web site to become operational in 2010, as the Cypriot delegate and coordinator of the BE-SAFE-NET website, Xx. Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx, confirmed. The Secretariat added that the working group intends to cover topics beyond hazards to enrich the site and then the different Civil Protection contributions would be highly welcomed. The Secretariat explained that the results achieved so far by the group have highlighted the importance of the role of local and regional authorities in an overall disaster risk reduction strategy. He thanked Cyprus and Croatia for their recent contribution and called upon all those countries who had not yet replied to do so. The delegate from Monaco, Xx. Xxxx Xxxx, confirmed his country’s support for the work carried out and that after consultation with the various bodies, feedback will be given as soon as possible. The Belgian delegate and coordinator of this group reminded that the objective is to regularly update each study on the future ISPU website and thus urged the countries to keep her informed of any national changes. The study so far has already identified some good practices (a dialogue between researchers and local authorities on drought in Algeria, educational material produced in campaigns on informing the population in Armenia, the interesting particularities in smaller countries such as Luxemburg).   • Development Activities The Development activities referred to in item “b” of paragraph 3.1 include: studies and projects of implementation of the Production facilities; drilling and completion of the Producing and injection xxxxx; and installation of equipment and vessels for extraction, collection, Treatment, storage, and transfer of Oil and Gas. The installation referred to in item “c” includes, but is not limited to, offshore platforms, pipelines, Oil and Gas Treatment plants, equipment and facilities for measurement of the inspected Production, wellhead equipment, production pipes, flow lines, tanks, and other facilities exclusively intended for extraction, as well as oil and gas pipelines for Production Outflow and their respective compressor and pumping stations.

  • Regulatory Activities Beginning on the Effective Date and to the extent UGNX remains the Lead Development Party with respect to a particular territory, subject to and in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement and the requirements of Applicable Laws, UGNX, shall: (a) use Commercially Reasonable Efforts to file (or have filed) all Regulatory Filings with respect to the Licensed Products in the Field in order to obtain Marketing Approvals in each country in the Territory and the European Territory (or to obtain the European Centralized Approval in the European Core Territory) and in order to obtain Pricing and/or Reimbursement Approvals in the Profit Share Territory; (b) respond in a timely fashion to requests for data and information from Regulatory Authorities with respect to the Licensed Products in the Field in the Territory and the European Territory; and (c) meet with officials of the Regulatory Authorities at such times as may be requested by such Regulatory Authorities with respect to the Core Development Activities (“Regulatory Activities”), provided that KHK will have primary responsibility for obtaining, and UGNX shall provide all assistance reasonably requested by KHK, in relation to Pricing and/or Reimbursement Approvals for the Licensed Products in the Field in the European Territory. For the avoidance of doubt, UGNX will be responsible for obtaining, and KHK will provide all assistance reasonably requested by UGNX, in relation to Pricing and/or Reimbursement Approvals, if any, for the Licensed Products in the Field in the Profit Share Territory as part of the UGNX Core Development Activities, it being understood that the costs incurred by UGNX in connection with such activities will be shared equally (50/50). All such Regulatory Activities will be conducted in a manner consistent with the Core Development Plan and coordinated by the JSC in accordance with Article 3. Without limiting the applicability of the foregoing and the remainder of this Article 5, UGNX shall interface with the applicable Regulatory Authority(ies) and, through the JDC, shall keep KHK reasonably informed of all material events and developments occurring in the course of the Regulatory Activities, including scheduled UGNX regulatory strategy discussions and meetings with Regulatory Authorities in the Territory and the European Territory relating to the Licensed Products in the Field.

  • Activities Except with the prior written consent of the Board, Executive will not during his employment with the Company undertake or engage in any other employment, occupation or business enterprise, other than ones in which Executive is a passive investor. Executive may engage in civic and not-for-profit activities so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of his duties hereunder.

  • Scope of Activities Transmission planning activities will be coordinated in accordance with the Amended and Restated Northeast ISO/RTO Planning Coordination Protocol (“Protocol”), between and among PJM Interconnection, L.L.C., the New York Independent System Operator, Inc. and ISO New England Inc., effective as of December 12, 2004 as amended on July 10, 2013.

The Software is not fault-tolerant and is not designed, manufactured or intended for use or resale as on-line control equipment in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance, such as in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communication systems, air traffic control, direct life support machines, or weapons systems, in which the failure of the Software could lead directly to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage ("High Risk Activities").
