Progression through the Salary Scale. 3.3.1 Employees shall progress to the next available step in the salary scale on the anniversary of their previous increment (or anniversary of appointment for new appointees) subject to their having met their agreed performance expectations, as set through the performance management and development system, at their most recent assessment (and providing that this assessment occurred within the previous 12 months).
