Prohibition Against Gratuities. 1. Contractor covenants that no gratuities, in the form of entertainment, gifts, or otherwise, were offered by Contractor or any agent, director, or representative of Contractor, to any officer, official, agent, or employee of a JBE, in an effort to secure the Agreement or favorable treatment with respect to any determinations concerning the performance of the Agreement.

The JBE’s rights and remedies under this provision are in additional to any other rights and remedies provided by law or under this Agreement.

Prohibition Against Gratuities. A. The State may, by written notice to the Contractor, terminate the right of the Contractor to proceed under this Contract if it is found by the State that gratuities in the form of entertainment, gifts, or otherwise were offered or given by the Contractor or any employee, agent, or representative of the Contractor to any officer or employee of the State with a view toward securing this Contract, or securing favorable treatment with respect to the award or amendment of this Contract, or the making of any determinations with respect to the performance of this Contract.
B. The Contractor certifies that no elected or appointed official or employee of the State has benefited or will benefit financially or materially from this Contract. This Contract may be terminated by the State if it is determined that gratuities of any kind were either offered to or received by any of the aforementioned individuals from the Contractor, its agent, or its employees.
Prohibition Against Gratuities. Iowa law provides that it is a felony to offer, promise, or give anything of value or benefit to an elected official, public official, public employee, candidate, or that person’s immediate family member, with the intent to influence that person’s acts, opinion, judgment, or exercise of discretion with respect to that person’s duties. In addition to any criminal and civil penalties, IPERS may, by written notice to the , terminate this Contract, if the violates this section.
Prohibition Against Gratuities. No Proponent and no employee, agent or representative of the Proponent, may offer or give any gratuity in the form of entertainment, participation in social events, gifts or otherwise to any officer, xx- xxxxxx, agent, appointee or employee of the City in connection with or arising from this RFP, whether for the purpose of securing an Agreement or seeking favourable treatment in respect to the award or amendment of the Agreement or influencing the performance of the Agreement, including without restriction enforcement of performance standards, or expressing appreciation, or providing compen- sation, for the award of an Agreement or for performance of the City's obligations thereunder or for conferring favours or being lenient, or in any other manner whatsoever. If the City determines that this article has been breached by or with respect to a Proponent, the City may exclude its Proposal from consideration, or if an Agreement has already been entered into, may terminate it without incurring any liability.
Prohibition Against Gratuities. Oracle shall abide by all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to Oracle s performance of this agreement, including, but not limited to laws, rules and regulations pertaining to the provision of gifts to your employees.
