Promotion of the Council’s Charter. A Planning Agreement is to promote elements of the Council’s charter, which is established under section 8 of the Local Government Act 1993 (LG Act). It is considered that the Planning Agreement would further a number of elements of the charter, as shown below: Element of the Council’s charter (section 8 of the LG Act) How does the Planning Agreement promote the element? to provide directly or on behalf of other levels of government, after due consultation, adequate, equitable and appropriate services and facilities for the community and to ensure that those services and facilities are managed efficiently and effectively This element is embedded in the purposes and objectives of the Planning Agreement.   • SCHOOL STAFF COMMITTEES 1. If the majority of the teaching staff in the school so decide, there shall be established a recognized staff committee in that school.

  • MINISTRY/SCHOOL BOARD INITIATIVES ETFO will be an active participant in the consultation process to develop a Ministry of Education PPM regarding Ministry/School Board Initiatives.

  • Labour Relations Committee (a) The parties agree that the purpose of the Labour Relations Committee is to discuss, and, if possible, resolve, any matters of interest to the parties. To this end, the parties shall meet to exchange information and may hold discussions in an attempt to solve any problem related to working conditions.
