Protection and System Quality. Consumer shall, at its expense, provide, install, own, operate and maintain System Protection Facilities, including such protective and regulating devices as are required by NERC, ReliabilityFirst, the Power Company, Transmission Owner or Transmission Provider, or by order, rule or regulation of any duly-constituted regulatory authority having jurisdiction, or as are otherwise required by Good Utility Practice in order to protect persons and property and to minimize deleterious effects to the Power Company Distribution System and the transmission system of Transmission Owner. Any such protective or regulating devices that may be required on Power Company’s or Transmission Owner’s facilities in connection with the operation of the Electric Generating Facility shall be installed by Power Company or Transmission Owner, as the case may be, at Consumer’s expense. Power Company reserves the right to modify or expand its requirements for protective devices in conformance with Good Utility Practice.

Member-Owner shall, at its expense, provide, install, own, operate and maintain System Protection Facilities, including such protective and regulating devices as are required by NERC, ReliabilityFirst, the Cooperative, Transmission Owner or Transmission Provider, or by order, rule or regulation of any duly-constituted regulatory authority having jurisdiction, or as are otherwise required by Good Utility Practice in order to protect persons and property and to minimize deleterious effects to the Cooperative’s Distribution System and the transmission system of Transmission Owner. Any such protective or regulating devices that may be required on the Cooperative’s or Transmission Owner’s facilities in connection with the operation of the Electric Generating Facility shall be installed by the Cooperative or Transmission Owner, as the case may be, at Member-Owner’s expense. the Cooperative reserves the right to modify or expand its requirements for protective devices in conformance with Good Utility Practice.

Consumer shall, at its expense, provide, install, own, operate and maintain system protection facilities, including protective and regulating devices, as required by the Power Company and as otherwise required by good utility practice, and applicable operational and reliability criteria, protocols, and directives, in order to protect persons and property and to minimize deleterious effects to the Power Company’s distribution system. Any such protective or regulating devices that may be required on Power Company’s facilities in connection with the operation of the Electric Generating Facility shall be installed by Power Company at Consumer’s expense. Power Company reserves the right to modify or expand its requirements for protective devices in conformance with good utility practice and/or applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Consumers shall, at its expense, install, maintain, and operate System Protection Assets, including such protective and regulating devices as are identified by order, rule or regulation of any duly constituted regulatory authority having jurisdiction, or as are otherwise necessary to protect personnel and assets and to minimize deleterious effects to Transmission Provider’s or Transmission Owner’s electric service operation arising from the Unit. Transmission Owner shall install any such protective or regulating devices that may be required on Transmission Owner’s assets in connection with the operation of the Unit at Consumers’ expense.
Protection and System Quality a. It shall be Seller’s obligation, at its expense, to install or have installed and keep operative System Protective Facilities, including such protective and regulating devices as are identified by order, rule or regulation of any duly constituted regulatory authority having jurisdiction, or as are otherwise necessary to protect personnel and equipment and to minimize deleterious effects to Company’s electric service operation. Any such protective or regulating devices that may be required on Company’s facilities shall be installed by Company at Seller’s expense, with Company being permitted to collect the cost of such devices by deducting that amount from the payment that otherwise would have been made to Seller for Energy sales during one or more months.

Facility Owner shall, at own its expense, install, maintain, and operate system protection facilities on the Facility side of the Interconnection Boundary, including such protective and regulating devices, or as otherwise necessary, to protect personnel and equipment and to minimize deleterious effects to CEB’s electric service operation arising from the Facility. Any such protective or regulating devices that may be required on CEB’s facilities in connection with the operation of the Facility shall be installed by Facility Owner prior to the written approval of CEB.

Seller shall, at own its expense, install, maintain, and operate system protection facilities on the Facility side of the Interconnection Boundary, including such protective and regulating devices, or as otherwise necessary, to protect personnel and equipment and to minimize deleterious effects to CEB’s electric service operation arising from the Facility. Any such protective or regulating devices that may be required on CEB’s facilities in connection with the operation of the Facility shall be installed by Seller prior to the written approval of CEB.
Protection and System Quality. Facility Sponsor shall, at its expense, install, maintain, and operate System Protection Facilities, including such protective and regulating devices as are identified in Appendix C, Protection Standards, and as otherwise necessary to protect personnel and equipment and to minimize deleterious effects to Okanogan PUD’s electric service operation arising from the Facility. Any such protective or regulating devices that may be required on Okanogan PUD’s facilities in connection with the operation of the Facility shall be installed by Okanogan PUD at Facility Sponsor’s expense.
Protection and System Quality. Generator shall, at its expense, install, maintain, and operate System Protection Facilities as a part of the Facility and the Generator Interconnection Facilities. Any System Protection Facilities that may be required on the Manitoba Hydro Interconnection Facilities or the System in connection with the operation of the Facility shall be installed by Manitoba Hydro at Generator's expense.

It shall be Customer's obligation, at its expense, to install or have installed and keep operative System Protection Facilities, including such protective and regulating devices as are identified by order, rule or regulation of any duly constituted regulatory authority having jurisdiction, or as are otherwise necessary to protect personnel and equipment and to minimize deleterious effects to Company's electric service operation, all in accordance with the standards of this Agreement and as specified pursuant to Section 3.2. Any such protective or regulating devices that may be required for Company's Interconnection Facilities or System Upgrades shall be installed by Company at Customer's expense pursuant to this Agreement.
