Protective Clothing and Laundry allowances. (a) Where the employer requires a uniform to be worn by an employee: i The employer shall provide suitable and serviceable uniforms free of cost to the employee. An employee who has received a new uniform or part of a uniform supplied by the employer and who, without good reason, fails to return the corresponding article last supplied to him or her, shall not be entitled to have such an article replaced without payment at a reasonable price; ii An employee on leaving the service of the employer shall return any uniform or part thereof supplied by the employer which is still in use immediately prior to leaving.
