Amount of Sick Leave (a) Full-time Employees - Full-time employees shall accumulate sick pay credits at the rate of one and a half (1-1/2) days per month for each calendar month of service up to a maximum credit of 240 days. The Parties agree that full-time employees will not accumulate sick leave credits during the separation period during July and August.
Examination of the benefit suspension level 1. If the Party complained against considers that the level of benefits suspended is excessive, it may request in writing the original Panel to examine the level of suspension of benefits. If this is not possible, the procedure established in Article 179 (Panel Selection) shall be followed, in which event the periods set out thereof shall be reduced by half (23). 2. This Panel shall issue its ruling within 60 days following the date of the referral of the matter to it. When the Panel considers that it cannot provide its report within this timeframe, it shall inform the Parties in writing of the reasons for the delay together with an estimate of the period within which it will submit its report. Any delay shall not exceed a further period of 30 days unless the Parties otherwise agree. The ruling of the Panel shall be final and binding. It shall be delivered to the Parties and be made publicly available. 3. If the Panel finds that the level of benefits which the complaining Party has suspended is excessive, it shall determine the appropriate level of benefits it considers to be of equivalent effect.
Payment for Unused Sick Leave a. An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.
Carry Forward to a Subsequent Year If you do not withdraw the excess contribution, you may carry forward the contribution for a subsequent tax year. To do so, you under-contribute for that tax year and carry the excess contribution amount forward to that year on your tax return. The six percent excess contribution penalty tax will be imposed on the excess amount for each year that it remains as an excess contribution at the end of the year. You must file IRS Form 5329 along with your income tax return to report and remit any additional taxes to the IRS.
Notification of Sick Leave Days The Board shall notify employees and the Bargaining Unit, when they have exhausted their 11 days allocation of sick leave at 100% of salary.
Reinstatement of Sick Leave An eligible employee who is reinstated or reappointed to State service within four (4) years of the date of resignation in good standing, or retirement shall have their accumulated but unused sick leave balance restored and posted to their credit in the records of the employing department provided such sick leave was accrued in accordance with the personnel rules or the provisions of this Agreement. An employee who receives severance pay, and returns to State service within four (4) years of the date of resignation in good standing or retirement, shall have their sick leave balance restored at sixty percent (60%) of the employee’s first nine-hundred (900) hours of accumulated but unused sick leave, plus eighty-seven and one-half percent (87½%) of the employee’s accumulated but unused sick leave in excess of nine-hundred (900) hours. Upon request, employees of the legislative branch who transfer or who are appointed to State service within four (4) years of the date of resignation in good standing or retirement shall have accumulated unused sick leave posted to the employee's credit provided such sick leave was accrued in accordance with the personnel rules or the provisions of this Agreement.
Accrual of Sick Leave a. A full-time employee shall accrue four (4) hours of sick leave for each biweekly pay period, or the number of hours that are directly proportionate to the number of days worked during less than a full-pay period, without limitation as to the total number of hours that may be accrued.
Proof of Sickness Sick leave with pay is only payable because of sickness or injury and employees who are absent from duty because of sickness may be required by the Employer to prove sickness. Failure to meet this requirement can be cause for disciplinary action. Repeated failure to meet this requirement can lead to dismissal. A doctor’s certificate may be requested for each leave of more than three (3) consecutive work days.
Are There Penalties for Early Distribution from a Xxxx XXX As indicated above, earnings on your contributions, as well as amounts contributed to a Xxxx XXX as a rollover from a Traditional IRA, that are distributed before certain events are subject to various taxes. Please see IRS Publication 590 for further information about Xxxx XXX rules and restrictions.
Average Log Length and Payment Reduction If the average log length for all logs delivered under this contract is less than the average log length specified in the table in clause G-024.2, The amount of allowable payment reduction shall be calculated by multiplying the payment rate in P-028.2 by the total volume delivered, and the difference between the average length of logs delivered and the average log length specified in G-024.2, times 1% as follows: Log Length Payment Reduction = (B x V x L) x (.01) 1/10th) Where: B = Bid rate from P-028.2 clause V = total delivered log Volume L = Length in feet below specified average (rounded to nearest Average log length payment reductions calculated by the Purchaser must be approved by the State, prior to payment for the final billing period. Third-party scaling organization information is required to determine Xxxxxxxx mbf and Average log length for payment reduction purposes. Average log length is determined on a piece count basis. Value of log length price reduction will be derived from the applicable sort value as described in this contract. Scale information for determining Average log length for payment reduction eligibility must be obtained from roll-out scale. Truck-ramp, sample scaling, and/or bundle scaling information is not acceptable for determining eligibility. Purchaser’s exclusive remedy for below average log lengths shall be the payment reduction described in this clause, notwithstanding other provisions in the Uniform Commercial Code.
