Amount of Sick LeaveAn employee shall receive 120 sick leave hours annually, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 4A:6-1.3, as long as the employee remains actively employed. If the employee is separated from employment, the 120 hours shall be prorated at 10 hours for each full month of employment. Any sick leave not used in any calendar year shall accumulate to the employee’s credit from year to year to be used if and when needed for such purpose.
Amount of Sick LeaveEmployees shall be granted sick leave on the basis of one and one-half (1 1/2) days per month of service in a continuing appointment, at the F.T.E. of current appointment. If in any one year employees have not used their sick leave, or only a portion thereof, it shall accrue to their credit for future use and benefits.

Amount of Sick LeaveSick leave shall be earned by employees on the basis of one and one-half (1 ½) days for every month of service. While an employee will accrue sick bank benefits during her probationary period, usage of these credits shall be restricted to the period following completion of probation. An employee shall be entitled to an accrual of all the unused portion of sick leave to a maximum of one hundred and thirty-eight (138) days.

Amount of Sick Leave. Each regular full-time and regular part-time employee whose normal work week is twenty (20) hours or more shall be eligible for sick leave with pay during and after his or her probationary period. In cases where the Employer has reason to suspect abuse, an employee may be required to produce a certificate from a medical practitioner for any illness, certifying that they were unable to carry out their duties due to illness. The Employer shall pay the cost, if any, providing that the employee provides a receipt.
