Provision of Safety Equipment. (a) Where an employee is required by the University, or by legislation, to acquire and wear protective footwear in order to perform their duties, the University shall pay to such employee, annually in May, an allowance up to $250.00. The employee will be reimbursed after presenting the invoice for the purchase to Human Resources.

The Employer and Employees commit to Genus Safety Non-Negotiables; a set of mandatory minimum health and safety requirements that apply to all Genus operations and controlled activities. The Safety Non- Negotiables are essential in preventing fatalities or serious injuries.
