Provision of School Resource Officers. Unless otherwise indicated below, the Chief of Police shall assign one regularly employed police supervisor and a civilian secretary to the SRO Program, and one regularly employed police officer to each of the following schools:
Provision of School Resource Officers. The DEPARTMENT shall assign regularly employed certified police officers that have undergone a criminal background check, drug testing and psychological evaluation as School Resource Officers (SROs). The SRO shall have completed mental health crisis intervention training using a curriculum developed by a national organization with expertise in mental health crisis intervention. The officers shall be assigned in the quantity and at the locations to be specified in a separate "Memorandum of Understanding" described more fully in paragraph 9 below. In doing so, the DEPARTMENT is acting in reliance on the commitment of the CHARTER SCHOOLS to fund and compensate the DEPARTMENT for each School Resource Officer assigned and acting under the provisions of this Agreement, for a minimum period of three (3) consecutive school years. The CHARTER SCHOOLS does, hereby, specifically represent and promise they will so fund and compensate in the manner described herein.

  • Human Resources Database The Parties believe that their on-going and collective bargaining relationships are enhanced through useful, timely, and accessible data on relevant human resources matters, including those listed below. The Parties agree to provide and support the accumulation and dissemination of available data to the PSEA, which will be responsible for the management of the HRDB project including the gathering, analysis, and maintenance of such data. The Parties may undertake joint projects for the comparative analysis of such data. The Parties agree that a Steering Committee will oversee this program. The Committee will include representatives designated by each Party. The Parties recommend that the Ministry of Advanced Education, Training and Technology continue to provide funding to assist in the gathering, analysis, and maintenance of such data through the agreed-upon organization.
