Purchasing and Execution Phase. During the Purchasing and Execution Phase, DESIGN FIRM shall perform the following Design Services for the CLIENT: Placing Orders & Assessing Delivery Times Complete the purchasing of goods on your behalf Clarify and communicate estimated delivery times Manage open orders by efficiently tracking goods Prepare the Construction & Installation timeline CLIENT understands and agrees that the purchasing of goods, including furniture and furnishings, through DESIGN FIRM is not a palpable process for a variety of reasons including but not limited to customization of pieces, delivery constraints and the like. As such, CLIENT understands and agrees that seeing pieces in person and/or sit testing furniture is not part of DESIGN FIRM’s purchasing process. CLIENT further understands and agrees that all decisions to purchase goods through DESIGN FIRM will be based on DESIGN FIRM’s industry knowledge and design expertise taken in conjunction with CLIENT’s budget, quality level and aesthetic. Construction Build and/or Renovation project management Oversee the construction and installation timeline Coordinate project logistics with trades and vendors Regular site meetings with all relevant parties - trades, DESIGN FIRM, architect (when necessary), and the CLIENT (as available) - during a renovation to ensure that the project is moving forward in a timely manner and is being executed according to the design Capture and communicate all questions and concerns to homeowner Provide additional drawings, samples and meetings as needed to move construction project forward Installation Coordinate deliveries and installations On site presence during deliveries and installations, where applicable Furniture Installation and Styling Provide turnkey furniture installation, which means that all of the furnishings are delivered at one time, once construction is complete (as much as possible) Plan and execute the styling process The Reveal Provide documentation that supports the care and maintenance of your newly completed project Identify any deficiencies that we've noted during installation in the format of a project punch list Present the Styling Price List for each item installed, where applicable Confirm what CLIENT wants to keep or return from the Styling Price List, where applicable Pick up and return any items identified to be returned, wh...
