PURPOSE OF THE RENEWAL. The purpose of this renewal is to extend the conditions of the HUD and DHS/FEMA CMA to determine and verify the accuracy of the data they provide, eligibility for their respective benefits, and to preserve the confidentiality of information in accordance with the matching program. The requirements of the CMA will be carried out by authorized users of HUD and DHS/FEMA (which include the agencies' authorized employees and contractors). The agreement also describes the responsibilities of HUD, HUD's Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grantees, and DHS/FEMA.
