QUALITY, SERVICE USER SAFETY AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS. 16.1 The Provider shall carry out the Services in accordance with the Law, Good Clinical Practice and Good Health and Social Care Practice, and shall unless otherwise agreed with the Commissioner in writing: 16.1.1 comply with the registration and regulatory compliance guidance of the Regulator and any other standards or recommendations issued from time to time by the Regulator (where applicable); 16.1.2 respond to requirements and any enforcement action of the Regulator (where applicable); 16.1.3 comply with the standards and recommendations from time to time issued by Monitor (where applicable); 16.1.4 consider and respond to the recommendations arising from any audit, Serious Incident report or Patient Safety Incident report; 16.1.5 comply with the recommendations issued from time to time by a Competent Body; 16.1.6 comply with the standards and recommendations issued from time to time by any relevant professional body and agreed in writing between the Commissioner and the Provider; 16.1.7 comply with the recommendations from time to time contained in technology appraisals issued by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (or any successor); 16.1.8 comply with the Quality Requirements; 16.1.9 comply with the 18 Weeks Referral-to-Treatment Standard (where applicable); and 16.1.10 comply with the HCAI Reduction Plan and meet any standards or objectives relating to the transmission of any HCAI. 16.2 The Parties shall comply with their duties under the Law to improve the quality of care services and clinical services for Service Users through the integrated governance arrangements set out in the National Standards and having regard to Guidance, in particular the Department of Health guidance on clinical governance. 16.3 The Provider shall carry out each Service User survey and Carer survey publishing outcomes and actions taken in relation to such surveys. The Provider shall carry out any other surveys reasonably requested by the Commissioner in relation to the Services and shall co-operate with any surveys that the Commissioner may, acting reasonably, carry out. Subject to the Law, the form, frequency and reporting of such surveys shall be in accordance with the requirements set out in Section 1 Part 3 of Module B (Service User, Carer and Staff Surveys) or as otherwise agreed between the Parties in writing from time to time.

  • Quality Service Standards Price Services and the Fund may from time to time agree to certain quality service standards, as well as incentives and penalties with respect to Price Services’ Services hereunder.

  • CONTRACT WORK HOURS AND SAFETY STANDARDS As per the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701-3708), where applicable, all Customer Purchase Orders in excess of ,000 that involve the employment of mechanics or laborers must include a provision for compliance with 40 U.S.C. 3702 and 3704, as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5). Under 40 U.S.C. 3702 of the Act, each contractor must be required to compute the wages of every mechanic and laborer on the basis of a standard work week of 40 hours. Work in excess of the standard work week is permissible provided that the worker is compensated at a rate of not less than one and a half times the basic rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the work week. The requirements of 40 U.S.C. 3704 are applicable to construction work and provide that no laborer or mechanic must be required to work in surroundings or under working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous. These requirements do not apply to the purchases of supplies or materials or articles ordinarily available on the open market, or contracts for transportation or transmission of intelligence.

  • Quality Improvement VRC shall develop programs designed to improve the quality of care provided by the Radiologists and encourage identification and adoption of best demonstrated processes. Practice and VRC acknowledge that, in connection with such quality improvement activities, it may be necessary to provide VRC with Protected Health Information and Practice and VRC agree to treat such information in accordance with Article 9;

  • Quality Specifications SANMINA-SCI shall comply with the quality specifications set forth in its Quality Manual, incorporated by reference herein, a copy of which is available from SANMINA-SCI upon request.

  • COUNTY’S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN The County or its agent will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this Contract on not less than an annual basis. Such evaluation will include assessing the Contractor’s compliance with all Contract terms and conditions and performance standards. Contractor deficiencies which the County determines are severe or continuing and that may place performance of the Contract in jeopardy if not corrected will be reported to the Board of Supervisors. The report will include improvement/corrective action measures taken by the County and the Contractor. If improvement does not occur consistent with the corrective action measures, the County may terminate this Contract or impose other penalties as specified in this Contract.

  • Quality Standards Each Party agrees that the nature and quality of its products and services supplied in connection with the other Party's Marks will conform to quality standards set by the other Party. Each Party agrees to supply the other Party, upon request, with a reasonable number of samples of any Materials publicly disseminated by such Party which utilize the other Party's Marks. Each Party will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and customs and obtain any required government approvals pertaining to use of the other Party's marks.

  • Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act The following clauses apply to any Federal-aid construction contract in an amount in excess of $100,000 and subject to the overtime provisions of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. These clauses shall be inserted in addition to the clauses required by 29 CFR 5.5(a) or 29 CFR 4.6. As used in this paragraph, the terms laborers and mechanics include watchmen and guards.
