Reassignment/Bumping Procedures. The administration will attempt, through reassignment/transfer, to place the employee into an opening within their job title that provides at least ninety (90) percent of the employee's annual hours of assigned work at the time of displacement. The goal of reassignment/transfer is to attempt to restore the employee's hours to one hundred (100) percent. An employee is not entitled to a position that is of greater hours than they occupied at the time of the layoff.
