- REASSIGNMENT/REMOVAL. A. A lieutenant may be reassigned/removed at anytime if the employee’s actions place a patient or co-worker in danger or exposes the Town to liability. In addition, employees who at the discretion of the EMS Director are not meeting the requirements of the position as listed in the Lieutenant job description will be advised in writing of the deficiencies and be given thirty (30) days to show improvement prior to reassignment/removal from the position.
