Room Reassignment. The Manager may in its sole and unfettered discretion, relocate the Resident to another Room upon 48 hours advance written notice. The Resident agrees to comply with the terms of any relocation notice and to remove and relocate the Resident’s property to the Room designated in the relocation notice. Residents are required to comply with any de-densifying efforts required on campus due to Covid-19 or other public health or safety emergency, including, but not limited to, the relocation of all or some residential students to alternative housing. Relocation does not constitute a termination of a residential student’s housing contract. In the event that the Manager must relocate students as part of a de-densifying strategy due to public health, safety or other concerns for an extended period of time and alternative housing is not available, the Manager may, in its sole and unfettered discretion, pay impacted students fair and reasonable reimbursement (as determined by the Manager) as appropriate and based on information available at that time and in full and final satisfaction of the Manager’s and the Institution’s obligations hereunder.

Room Reassignment. Housing & Residence Life reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reassign Rooms as deemed necessary or appropriate. Housing & Residence Life has the responsibility to reduce losses in revenue and minimize expenses by filling vacant Rooms. Residents must be prepared to welcome a new person to their Room or to be relocated to another Room any time a vacancy exists. When a vacancy exists that cannot be filled, the empty Room will be locked and no access will be permitted.
Room Reassignment. VIU may, in its sole and unfettered discretion, relocate you to another Room upon 48 hours advance written notice. If you do not remove and relocate your property as set out in the relocation notice, then VIU may remove and relocate your property, at your expense, without further notice and without liability to VIU for any damage to or loss of your property.
Room Reassignment. Residents requesting a relocation of rooms must submit their request in writing (xxxxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx) to the Resident Centre. A reason for the requested relocation must be included. Approval for the relocation is at the discretion of the Residence Coordinator. If approved, a $50 charge will be applied to the resident account for each move.
Room Reassignment. The University reserves all rights in connection with the reassignment of rooms and/or roommate(s). Room assignments may be changed, or this Agreement cancelled at any time upon reasonable notice by RL&L in the interest of order, health, discipline, best use of the facilities, or other reasons as determined by RL&L. If a student is not enrolled (registered and in good financial standing) by 30 days prior to the first day of classes in an upcoming semester, their room assignment may be cancelled or changed at the discretion of the Executive Director of Residential Living & Learning or their designee. If reassignment is necessary, RL&L will attempt to provide the student with similar accommodations if available. A change or cancellation of a room assignment does not constitute the cancellation of this agreement by the University.
Room Reassignment. A. The DigiPen Housing LLC reserves the right to reassign me to another Room or Unit at any time for any reason that is reasonable under the circumstances including, but not limited to, the welfare of residents, a violation of this agreement, to accommodate facility operations or repair, to accommodate students with a disability, to use available space more efficiently, to remove a resident from a Resident Assistant’s Room or to further the best interests of the DigiPen Housing LLC and/or its community.
B. If a vacant space is available in my Room, I may be assigned a Roommate without prior notification and I will keep the available space clean and accessible in the event I am assigned a Roommate.
C. If I am living in All Gender Housing, and my roommate(s) cancel their housing or moves out of the Unit for any reason, DigiPen Housing LLC encourages me to work with DigiPen Housing LLC staff to find a substitute roommate(s). However, DigiPen Housing LLC reserves the right to (1) assign any student who indicates they are interested in living in All Gender Housing, or (2) relocate/consolidate me to a different All Gender Housing space that meets my needs. I acknowledge that All Gender Housing room reassignments are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
