Recognition of Union Stewards and Grievance Committee. In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the rights and duties of the Union Grievance Committee and the Union Stewards. The Xxxxxxx will prepare and present grievances in accordance with the Grievance Procedure. The Employer will recognize one Chief Xxxxxxx. The allotment of recognized Coordinators, Senior Stewards, and Unit Stewards will be as follows: Coordinators Senior Stewards Unit Stewards Other Unit Advisory Positions Maximum of 40 Maximum of 40 Maximum of 40 Up to 3 per unit to a maximum of 120 * Head office will have the majority of recognized representatives based on a bargaining unit of approximately 2000.
