Recruitment and Enrollment of Students. (1) The School District staff will recruit eighth graders annually utilizing a recruitment plan with input from all stakeholders (examples include the School District, ECHS/P-TECH, College) that include regular activities to inform all stakeholders of the opportunity for a qualified student(s) to attend an ECHS/P-TECH. The recruitment plan will be shared with the College prior to recruitment process for the new cohort.

(3) Should the number of qualified applicants (target student population defined on page 1, paragraph 3) exceed the number of available spaces, a weighted lottery will be used to determine the ninth-grade cohort.
