Scope of Agreement and Limitations of Authority. 1.1. Purpose: The Independent Contractor is hereby contracted to perform the services that NCISD specifies below on an as-needed basis, including but not limited to the following:
1.2. The Independent Contractor has no authority to act for, or on behalf of, NCISD except as provided for in this Agreement. No other authority or power is granted or implied.
1.3. The Independent Contractor may not incur any debt, obligation, expense, or liability of any kind against NCISD without NCISD’s express written authorization.
1.4. The Independent Contractor has no rights or benefits other than those set forth in this Agreement.
1.5. The Independent Contractor agrees that NCISD is not responsible or liable for any damages, injuries, deaths, or any other form of loss or harm arising from any of the Independent Contractor’s negligent or intentional acts or omissions during the term of this Agreement.
1.6. The Independent Contractor will be responsible for the Independent Contractor’s own negligent or intentional acts or omissions in connection with the performance of services under this Agreement.
Scope of Agreement and Limitations of Authority. 2.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to employ Employee for the express purpose of allowing Employee to develop sales of Employer's goods. Employee is entitled to the rights and privileges detailed in this Agreement and to no other privileges. 2.02 Employer will process all sales in accordance with its normal procedures, and on each sale, have the right of approval or disapproval of the sale. 2.04 Employee may not make, revise, alter, or otherwise diverge from the terms, conditions, prices or policies furnished to Employee by Employer.
2.05 Employee may not incur any debt, obligation, expense or other liability of any kind against Employer without Employer's express prior and written permission, or in accordance with the Bylaws of the Corporation.

1.2 In the performance of the work, duties and obligations hereunder, it is mutually understood and agreed that Alamo Colleges shall not be considered an employee or partner of INSTITUTION. INSTITUTION shall not have control, direction and/or dominion over Alamo Colleges other than the terms of this Agreement.

The parties agree as follows: Governance-- The ECHS will: Be governed by Killeen ISD and subject to Killeen ISD's policies and applicable state and federal laws; and Have the autonomy to operate as a separate Killeen ISD campus within the rules and guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency ("TEA") and the Killeen ISD; and Operate within the normal operating hours of the college and/or Killeen ISD as mutually agreed upon by the parties. Scope of Agreement and Limitations of Authority. To collaborate in the establishment of the Transfer Academy for Tomorrow’s Engineers, hereinafter referred to as the "XXXX." The following agreement between the XXX and Xxxxx College defines a co- enrollment program for the students selected by UTSA and will guarantee admission to UTSA XXX for the students who successfully complete the program requirements. The XXXX is an innovative program that offers students the opportunity to be co-enrolled at both schools. Students admitted to the XXXX are UTSA engineering students who will be enrolled in XXX courses taught by UTSA faculty, while simultaneously enrolled at Xxxxx College to complete their math, science and core curriculum courses. Engineering students in this program have the ability to remain co-enrolled for two years. In addition, the program will provide an opportunity for both Parties to work collaboratively to improve reverse transfer processes (Appendix A. 12) that could enhance the number of associate degrees awarded by BlinnColege. Provide a network of support for students while attending UNT's College of Education, extend opportunities for students to complete the PDS1 Observation and/or PDS2 Clinical Teaching in the District. The District will, within the rules and guidelines established by TEA and the District, implement and supervise the following activities:
1. Identify District students who exhibit interest in becoming teachers and inform them of the Pathways program opportunity, including sharing materials and information about the UNT Pathways website.
2. Designate a District personnel contact(s) at central administration as the administrative authority able to make district decisions for the Pathways partnership.
3. Designate a District contact(s) to act as Pathways liaison(s) at participating campuses. The liaison supports communication regarding potential participants, program planning, and related event coordination to ensure sustainable infrastructure for the Pathways partnership.

Dual enrollment structures education, training, and career exploration to enable students to build academic and technical skills, acquire industry credentials, enter a profession, and advance in higher education.
